3. How We Use Your Information
- Email: Used exclusively for authentication, account recovery, and sending you an alert when a finder scans your QR code and submits a message.
- Public Profile (nick, phone, description): This information is displayed on a public web page only when someone scans your specific QR code or manually enters your public tag link. You control exactly what is shown here.
- We do not use your data for marketing or share it with third parties.
4. Data Security & Storage
Your data is securely hosted on Google Firebase infrastructure. Authentication is handled by Firebase Auth, and database records are stored in Firestore with strict security rules ensuring that only authenticated users can edit their own profiles.
5. Your Rights
You have full control over your data. You can log into your dashboard at any time to modify your public information. You also have the right to permanently delete your account and all associated data directly from the dashboard using the "Delete Account" button.
