FoundMe.uk provides a platform allowing users to generate QR codes linked to their contact information. This facilitates communication between the owner of a lost item and the finder. This is a personal, hobbyist project provided "as is" and "as available".

3. User Responsibilities

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account login information.
• You agree to provide accurate information in your public profile.
• You understand that the information you provide (nick, phone, description) will be accessible to anyone who scans your QR code or manually enters your public tag link.
• You agree not to use the service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.

4. Limitation of Liability

FoundMe.uk and its creator shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from:

• The loss or theft of any items tagged with our QR codes.
• Data Breaches: While we rely on Google Firebase for security, we do not guarantee that the service will be free from unauthorized access or hacking. You use the service at your own risk regarding data security.
• The failure of the service to deliver email notifications.
• Any misuse of the service or QR code spoofing by third parties.

5. Modifications to Service

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, the service with or without notice at any time.

6. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time via the dashboard. We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to our service immediately, without prior notice, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.
